Caring Beyond is a non-profit organization that offers pregnancy-loss support. They are affiliated with the Calgary Health Region Pregnancy and Infant Loss Program. Their group is staffed by volunteers. I first worked with the group to develop their logo. I also developed a banner image for the facebook page, and later I created a brochure for them. each piece has a similar look and feel to create continuity for their brand.
This logo represents a mother and father embracing the love for and loss of their child. The blue colours were in keeping with their existing website. The blues also symbolize the grief accompanying pregnancy loss.
While developing the logo for Caring Beyond, I was inspired to create the image now on display on the Caring Beyond website. I took and edited the photo. I grew to love this group and its purpose, so I donated the time spent on this image to the group.
I created this brochure for Caring Beyond. It was printed and is distributed by Alberta Health Services. When a familly experiences the loss of a child, they are given a package of information to help them deal with said loss. This package includes the brochure I designed. The bottom of the brochure is a card with contact information for Caring Beyond and the Alberta Health Services Pregnancy Loss group.
